Power-converter chassis — extrusion plus sheet metal sub-assembly
A power-converter chassis was built from an extruded 6063 heat-sink base and a formed 5052 enclosure, with machined corner brackets and a powder-coated finish. The whole sub-assembly was dimensionally inspected against a master fixture and shipped on a four-week Kanban to the system integrator.

Frequently asked questions
Can you produce custom heat-sink profiles?
Yes. We work with extrusion partners on custom profiles for production volumes and machine solid heat sinks for low-volume and prototype programs.
Do you supply RF shields ready for installation?
Yes. Shields are supplied with the requested plating and identification markings, kitted and labelled for SMT placement.
What accuracies can you hold on test fixtures?
ICT and flying probe fixtures are produced on calibrated tooling, with first article reports showing probe-to-pad positional accuracy. Repeatability is checked before shipment.
Can you handle a sheet metal run of a few hundred parts?
Yes. Low-volume sheet metal runs share the same tooling and inspection plan as production runs, which means moving from prototype to volume is a scale change, not a quality change.
Do you offer conformal coating or potting?
No. Conformal coating, potting and any electrical test are handled downstream. We deliver mechanical assemblies ready for your electronics integration line.
